The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the reverse integration carried out in the specialized child-care center to young children without disabilities through mothers of young children without disabilities in the specialized child-care centers. In order to obtain accurate information for research, detailed interviews with the mothers of young children without disabilities were performed. Each Interview with mothers who have sent their child without disabilities and who sent their child without disabilities was recorded and analyzed.
Results of analyzing interviews are as follows.
First, the opportunity of knowing about the specialized child-care center for young children with disabilities and the opportunity of knowing general child-care center had almost no difference. However, there were some worries of mothers such as "imitation of problem behavior of young children with disabilities" and "preconceptions of other people" before choosing the specialized child-care center.
Second, the mothers of young children without disabilities selected the specialized child-care center because they thought that their children can learn considerateness and lessen the preconceptions about the disabilities. For these reasons, young children without disabilities who chose the specialized child-care center for young children with disabilities, could have many experiences including mentioned reasons.
Third, the experiences in the specialized child-care center for young children with disabilities brought positive changes to young children without disabilities. The biggest change was natural conversations with young children with disabilities. So they could form positive peer relationship with young children with disabilities.
Fourth, children without disabilities were not only people who changed from the experiences of the specialized child-care center for young children with disabilities, but also mothers who have young child without disabilities. The interests regarding young children with disabilities of mothers of young children without disabilities were increased, so mothers could lessen the misconception and they could understand the parents with children with disabilities more than before.
In this study, there is significance that there were actual interview with mothers who send their child to the specialized child-care center for young children with disabilities. And it will show us the positive changes from reverse integration to children without disabilities.
