Abstract
This study considers contemporary Deconstructive theory and traditional Taoist thought with special reference to the comparative similarities discovered between the two philosophies. Through this investigation an appropriate site can be chosen in accordance with the theoretical paradigm.

Following the theoretic enquiry it will be made clear that feeling, instead of thinking is and important method of creating a form, and that when one''s actions are governed by intuition the ego tends to disappear and a clear, pure image of form can be created. In this particular context. Through the studying of Taoism it become apparent that knowledge as well as creative forgetfulness are necessary for the construction of a creation. An architect who attempts to design a building that is unique and honest must know not only to use what he has learnt in the past but be willing to journey without fear in the formless, winding, dark and unsure space of creative forgetfulness-the imagination. Deconstruction, on the other hand, teaches one to elevate one''s mind above from. Essentially, what the building looks like formally does not matter. What does, however matter, is the thought process involved behind the creation of that structure. The process becomes more important than the end result. An emphasis also falls on the dismantling of pre-formed ideas or notions. The pleasure of the architect lies within dismantling their particular works in order to attain the attention from the public and create an intent awareness and newfound understanding of form.
The proposed design of a South African Air Force Memorial Museum will potentinally spread of hope throughout the Korean continent. Hope not only for the reunification of the Koreas in the future, but also for the establishment of a prospective bond between South Korea and South Africa. Remembrance is another key feature within the architectural space that encourages generations of Koreans, as well as foreigners to remember the Korean War and sacrifices made by a multitude of individuals from not only Korea, but other Common Wealth nations who fought during the war. The city of Pyeongtaek will potentially be able to attract the space will expectantly become an urban sanctuary in which the city dweller can remove themselves from the stresses of the day''s work and be dawn into silence and inner-thought. It will become a place for rest and reflection, and a brief escape from society''s afflictions.

The structure is original in that it is a South African inspired building contained by South Korea. A building in which East meets West with the aid of the Eastern philosophy of Taoism in combination with the Western theory of Deconstruction. The similarities between the two theories proved to be endless and thus made the creation of a South African inspired building on a South Koreas context an entirely feasible and relevant feature in which to endeavor.
