This study employed a correlational research design to identify factors influencing ethical decision-making confidence among healthcare students. The results showed that artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and AI ethics awareness were significant factors influencing ethical decision-making confidence, with an explanatory power of 27.0%. These findings suggest the need to harmonize ethical reasoning with technical understanding in educational programs. Additionally, the results highlight the need for discipline-specific AI education programs that integrate technical knowledge and ethical values to prepare healthcare students for the ethical challenges of an AI-driven future. Furthermore, this study is valuable in that it provides evidence that AI literacy and AI ethics awareness, which are factors that affect ethical decision-making confidence in healthcare students who will actively experience ethical conflicts in the future, can prepare them to make the best ethical decisions in ethical conflict situations they will face in the future.
