PURPOSE : To better cope with the challenges of chronic diseases, based on the two national strategic backgrounds of “Healthy China” and “Digital China”, digitally empowered communities from the perspective of sports and health integration have become the key support for the high-quality development of chronic disease management.
METHODS : This study analyzes the current problems in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in digitally empowered communities through the literature methods, logical reasoning method and case analysis method, proposes corresponding solutions, and then demonstrates the practical application effect of digital technology in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases through the study of specific cases.
RESULTS : At present, there are practical difficulties in digitally empowered communities, such as the lack of a digital coordinated development system, the difficulty of data management, the lack of digital awareness of community citizens, the low digital literacy of community service personnel, and the difficulty of applying digital tools.
CONCLUSIONS : Under the background of the integration of sports and health, with the promotion of the high-quality development of digitally empowered community chronic disease prevention and treatment, it has injected new vitality and impetus into the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in the community, and has become an important direction and path choice for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. However, there are still many deficiencies at present. In the future, digital technology will be applied to empower grassroots communities according to local conditions from macro system design, meso mechanism research, and micro practical operation.
