This study aimed to achieve the goal of helping a Korean university's sports department successfully attract Chinese students and finding sustainable operation plans. The following conclusions were drawn. First, in order to strengthen the university's competitiveness, the department of sports has improved classes and programs that actively reflect the needs of Chinese international students, supported systematic health and psychological management, strengthened the expertise of faculty, and established a cooperation system between the department and external organizations to provide optimal training for international students. Academic and living environments must be provided. Second, in order to specialize the international student management system, we will organize personnel dedicated to managing international students, establish an organic cooperation system between each department, increase the satisfaction of international students by providing integrated management from attracting international students to academic and living support, and establish and operate the internationalization capabilities of the department of sports. Efficiency can be improved. Third, in order to lay the foundation for nurturing global sports talent, we operate a multidisciplinary and practice-oriented curriculum that meets the needs of the global sports market, support graduates for international competitiveness, and provide academic and practical training using field experience and graduate networks. We must promote sustainable development and globalization of the department of sports by strengthening its capabilities.
