This study is a conceptual analysis study that utilized Walker and Avant's conceptual analysis method to identify the attributes, antecedents, and consequences of sexual self-efficacy. A total of 17 articles were used for the conceptual analysis. The attributes of sexual self-efficacy were sexual agency, healthy sexual behavior, sexual communication, and psychological well-being, and the antecedents were correct sexual knowledge and values, sexual assertiveness, social and relational support, and confidence in sexual situations. The outcomes of sexual self-efficacy included increased sexual satisfaction, decreased risky sexual behavior, healthy sexual relationships, and increased emotional stability and self-esteem. These findings can be used as a basis for developing an instrument to objectively assess sexual self-efficacy and for developing intervention programs to promote sexual self-efficacy in nursing education and counseling.
