This study examines the transformative role of digital technology in Islamic education in Nigeria, enhancing access across geographical, gender, and socio-economic barriers. Using a mixed-methods approach, it highlights the impact of mobile phones, internet connectivity, and social media in expanding educational opportunities, particularly for urban and underserved groups such as women and rural learners. Despite these benefits, challenges persist, including digital inequality, concerns over content authenticity, and tensions between digital platforms and traditional religious authority. Limited internet access and high data costs remain obstacles for economically disadvantaged communities, while the decentralised nature of online content raises issues regarding credibility. The study advocates a hybrid learning approach that blends digital and traditional education to address these challenges. Key recommendations include improving digital literacy, implementing content verification systems, and enhancing internet infrastructure. Collaboration among policymakers, religious institutions, and digital platforms is crucial to ensuring Nigeria's inclusive and reliable Islamic educational landscape.
