The purpose of this study was to verify multi-path mediating effects of empowerment and teaching efficacy on the relationship between job satisfaction and professional development of childcare teachers. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 540 childcare teachers of day care centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Busan, Korea. Data analysis used in this study included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and significance analysis of mediated pathways using PROCESS Macro 3.3. Results of this study indicated that empowerment and teaching efficacy showed multi-path mediating effects on the relationship betweenjob satisfaction and professional development of child care teacher.
