Ventilation is important to improve indoor air quality. The main role of ventilation in indoor air quality is to dilute or discharge pollutants by introducing and replacing fresh air from outside into the room. Therefore, the efficiency of ventilation to remove pollutants as much as possible per unit time is important. However, in the case of an enclosed room, an imbalance in ventilation may occur, and there is a Individual controlled ventilation system to improve this. In this study, the performance evaluation of the controlled ventilation system for each room was conducted. The experimental method was confirmed through the CO₂ concentration reduction effect. As a result of the measurement, it was confirmed that the performance of the Individual controlled ventilation system was higher than that of the existing ventilation system. Therefore, it is considered that effective ventilation can be expected by applying a controlled ventilation system for each room. The results of this study are the first stage of a comprehensive study on the application of the Individual controlled ventilation system for apartment houses, and it is a basic study to compare the household-controlled ventilation system and the Individual controlled ventilation system. The contents of this study will be supplemented through further research in the future.
