The purpose of this study is to study and analyze the formative features shown in Le Corbusier's Delgado funerary Chapel project. This project has the potential to serve as a basis and clue for understanding and estimating Le Corbusier's architectural and formative views on religious architecture. Therefore, it is possible to understand the architectural concept and characteristics of the Delgado funerary Chapel project from a formative aspect. By analyzing the pre-liminary albums and materials of the left behind by Le Corbusier, this study examined the method of implementing the religious symbolism contained in the project for the funerary chapel as a religious facility, the search for a new religious architecture archetype, and the techniques of utilizing formative elements that constitute formativeness. and interpret it. And through this series of processes, this study shows the process and significance of Le Corbusier's intended formative view and search for meaning. Next, the purpose of this study is to define the formative nature of Le Corbusier's religious architecture contained in the Delgado Chapel project. This study also considers the form and meaning shown in the project of the funerary chapel among religious architectures. As an architecture for the dead, which is different from general architecture in terms of meaning, this study showsthe architectural implementation and attempts at commemoration.
