Highly favorable weather and ocean conditions are assumed during and prior to Noah’s flood based on several Genesis verses. Then, it is deduced that there was no severe sea storms during the Noah’s flood and a series of tsunamis were generated instead due to numerous seabed earthquakes and underground-water eruptions. Under the frequent earthquake and tsunami conditions, heterogeneous mixture of liquified soils are carried by tsunami induced horizontal flows and the corresponding parallel sediment layers were formed without any signs of erosion between them, which can be demonstrated by flume experiments and computer simulations. The design of Noah’s ark is checked from ocean engineer’s perspective. Under the corresponding ocean conditions, the safety and survivability of the Noah’s ark are investigated in view of structural robustness, intact stability, and seakeeping performance. It is shown that the tsunami-prone oceans provide highly favorable conditions for the God-designed freely-floating Noah’s ark and the corresponding logics are detailed.
