We address a service-worker routing problem with time-windows to enhance the sustainability of the rental companies. The major issue that threatens the sustainability is decrease of service-workers. Since the workers are atypical employees, some of them are not be guaranteed minimum wage per working hours. Also, their flexible working hours are not guaranteed to satisfy the customer time-windows. To enhance the sustainability, we propose an operational strategy including customer sharing, flexible working time, service time-windows, and revenue assurance. The objective function is to minimize operational costs. To find an optimal solution, a Mixed integer linear programming model is developed to find an optimal solution in small-sized instances. Genetic algorithm and Particle swarm optimization are proposed to find a near optimal solution in large-sized instances. We obtain the managerial insight of our strategy by comparing the proposed approach with the normal working method.
