The Realities and Future of Missions in Africa Africa is a vast and diverse continent, encompassing a myriad of races, tribes, and unique cultures, as well as a rich history. To gain a deeper understanding of African missions, it is essential to approach the subject not only through historical analysis but also through various perspectives and with a broad view. It is now imperative to consider African missions not only within the continent but also from the perspective of the African diaspora, which has spread globally since the 15th century. In this paper, the author analyzes the realities faced by African missions and presents future prospects based on this analysis. The African continent comprises various cultural groups and political systems. To envision their future, it is necessary to delve into the common realities and issues they have faced from the past to the present. To this end, the author examines the geographical and political factors of Africa and addresses issues related to the decline in agricultural productivity resulting from climate change. Additionally, the paper analyzes the problems of fragmented society and governance caused by neocolonialism, as well as the issues of resource extraction and environmental concerns that Africa is currently facing. Based on this analysis, the author forecasts the future of African missions, suggesting missions through the African diaspora, digital missions as a future driving force for Africa, and environmental-ecological missions in Africa.
