The study was aimed at diagnosing policy issues and presenting necessary policy implications for the legalization of the national sport of Taekwondo. In the status analysis and diagnosis, we looked at 10 key issues presented for each of the five promotion strategies, and applied three key elements to each of the 10 key issues to perform diagnosis. First, in terms of tradition, the policy issues were found to be insufficient to the point where it is difficult to find them. In terms of the second public, the policy issues were shown to reflect those aspects relatively well. In terms of the third degree of correspondence, the policy issues were presented at the appropriate level. Overall, the policy issues focused on the convergence of the 10 core issues and contents, making up the majority of the general and declarative contents, which resulted in insufficient selection and concentration. Based on the results derived from the status analysis and diagnosis, the implications and discussions were presented and discussed for each of the three key elements. First, in terms of tradition, I thought it necessary to present a policy issues on the restoration of Taekwondo''s promiscuity. Second, in terms of public, the government believed that specific institutionalization measures to secure the public of Taekwondo should be included in the policy agenda. In terms of third correspondence, the policy issues were to examine the necessary issues once again in accordance with the legislation of the national sport of Taekwondo, and to make choices and concentrate on them.
