Recently, in situations where the stress levels of modern people are high, the demand and interest in healing design are increasing, and various related product development and research are being actively conducted. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze textile products and project cases to which healing design elements are applied, focusing on the textile fields that are effective for application as healing design products in terms of materials and techniques, and analyzing them. Through this, the purpose of research in the textile field is to lay the foundation for long-term development into healing activities and products. The research method and scope were established through domestic thesis and academic papers published from 2000 to the present, and about 115 data points were collected from related books, magazines, and news to analyze healing design cases using textile materials and techniques. The elements of each typical type of healing design could be classified into sensory elements, functional elements, psychological elements, and social elements, and the results of the analysis applied to the textile field are summarized as follows. First, sensory elements include patterns, colors, and natural motifs, and materials. Second, functional elements include products incorporating technologies such as healthcare and IoT. Third, psychological elements include simple repetitive work and occupational therapy. Fourth, social elements include various social participation projects and ethical consciousness in the production process. The textile field has many possibilities to incorporate healing design elements, but research or planning on this has not been actively conducted yet. Therefore, based on the analysis of this paper, it is expected to be the basis for the development of textile materials and techniques-related products and project planning incorporating elements of healing design.
