The purpose of this study is to propose a convergence curriculum that can be applied in textile and fashion design education based on the examples according to the actual curriculum and performance of capstone design linked to industrial companies. The research is to study the product cases of a total of 7 teams developed through a curriculum spanning 4 semesters, from the 2nd semester of 2020 to the 1st semester of 2022, targeting college students majoring in convergence at S University, and derive a convergence education model of capstone design suitable for the field of textile and fashion. The results of the study are as follows. First, by applying a brand''s fashion product development process to textile and fashion capstone design, an educational model that can foster on-the-job talent by operating the learning process in five stages of planning, design, development, evaluation, and synthesis is designed. Second, through the process of designing using the fashion CAD program, it is possible to enhance knowledge, skills, and computer literacy required in the industrial field and efficiently develop sketches and schematizing work to materialize design ideas. Third, by producing brochures of manufactured prototypes and evaluating commercialization possibilities through exhibitions and fashion shows, it is possible to develop fashion products that meet the needs and inclinations of modern consumers and expand the expression area of textile and fashion design. Fourth, through the process of performing tasks of industrial companies and deriving results, it is possible to enhance the integrated problem-solving skills and develop the capabilities as future fashion convergence talents who can develop creative fashion products. The capstone design linked to industrial companies can narrow the differences between university education and practical work through cooperation with companies and can increase educational effects, ultimately fostering talents that companies seek.
