In this study, wind tunnel experiments were carried out to analyze the characteristics of wind load coefficient distribution by position for solar panels installed in a 3×2 array on the rooftop of a flat-roofed building. The drag and lift force for each panel position were measured, and the normal force coefficient according to the panel’s inclination angle was calculated and then compared with Japan’s JIS C 8955:2017. The analysis showed a trend similar to the standard. However, the wind load coefficients for positive and negative pressures on the panels installed in an array were found to be about 40% lower on average than the standard values.
