Recently, research on the defense unmanned system has been actively conducted, such as the deployment of drones at the front and rear division levels, but no clear guidelines have been given for the unmanned system in terms of military and operational aspects. In addition, the defense unmanned system has a problem of limited wireless communication and battery, and to solve this problem, many institutions are conducting research in the field of defense. Among them, the limitations of wireless communication are trying to overcome the limitations through communication relay drones, and efforts are being made to overcome the problem of battery shortages through the introduction of science and technology. Energy harvesting technology can solve some of the battery problems, but research on the application of the defense unmanned system field is still insufficient. Among the defense unmanned systems, drones and unmanned tanks are characterized by fixed vibration of machines, and their application is limited due to their low technology and low energy source efficiency to apply vibration energy harvesting using this characteristic. However, it is believed that some of the military unmanned system battery problems can be solved by maximizing the energy harvested by applying piezoelectric materials using piezoelectric effects to vibration energy harvesting. Therefore, in this study, piezoelectric materials and vibration energy harvesting technology are tested to confirm the possibility of applying unmanned systems and to representative drones and unmanned tanks among military unmanned systems.
