Is the Fourth Industrial Revolution Really Real? Wasn"t the third industrial revolution just yesterday? Has new technology, symbolized by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, been so productive as to be called the Revolution? This series of questions leads us to rethink the legal implications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The fourth industrial revolution may be seen as an extension of the third industrial revolution. Originally, the development of technology and history is not of a property that can be divided into stages and uniformly distinguished. However, it can be staged through symbolic meaning.
Thus, for the meaning of the fourth order, we must find the sociological and normative specificity hidden behind it. This paper intends to make a diagnosis of deauthorization. Thus, among the various legal issues thrown away by the peculiarity of dehumanization, a holistic diagnosis that could be questioned from the criminal law perspective was carried out.
Like the previous discussions, this problem eventually leads to the problem of subjectivity and responsibility of dehumanized non-personal bodies, that is, autonomous systems such as robots and autonomous vehicles. The issue of behavioral identity raises the question of a completely different perspective from the existing criminal law system, such as the issue of legalization of AI and the recognition of the ability to act-responsibility. The latter also raises a number of future problems that may arise in the future under the issue of product liability. I would like to present my opinion briefly on the problem overview and the direction of discussion.
I think we live in any change, whether it"s the 4th industrial revolution or the 3.5th industrial revolution. The emphasis on the definition and future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution today is that it is very easy to foresee that problems will arise if we do not. Such problems and dangers should be viewed from the legal perspective as dehumanization will be a key concept and should not neglect normative efforts.
