This study investigated the effects of rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards on trunk stabilization and realignment in patients with lower extremity neuralgia, and the following conclusions were obtained.
1. Changes and effects of trunk function
First, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards significantly increase trunk stability for patients with lower extremity neuralgia. Second, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards for patients with lower extremity neuralgia have a significant effect on trunk stabilization by increasing trunk stability.
2. Changes and effects of body shape normalization
First, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards significantly reduced the left and right deviation of the lower angle of both shoulder blades.
3. Second, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards significantly reduced the left and right deviation of both iliac ridges.
4. Third, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards had a significant effect on trunk realignment by reducing the left and right deviations of the lower angle of both shoulder blades and the ridges of both iliac bones, and Cobb"s Angle of the trunk. Therefore, rehabilitation exercises using Pilates and jumping boards are thought to be valuable as exercise therapy for patients with lower extremity neuralgia, and are expected to be applicable to patients with general spinal-related neuralgia, including lower extremity neuralgia.
