This study is to identify the level of physical activity participation frequency and sleep time of people with developmental disabilities, and to analyze the relationship between interpersonal relationships and mental health according to physical activity participation frequency and sleep time. The subjects of this study were 3,765 developmental disabilities aged 15 and older registered in Korea, and raw data conducted by the Korea Employment Disabilities Institutes for the Disabled in 2020 were provided. Statistical analysis to achieve the purpose of this study was performed by frequency analysis and chi-square test using SPSS 26.0 version program, and the results are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant difference in physical activity participation frequency and sleeping hours according to the general characteristics of people with developmental disabilities in all factors except for gender (p<.001). Second, interpersonal relationships and mental health according to physical activity participation frequency of people with developmental disabilities showed statistically significant differences in all factors (p<.05, p<.001). Third, there was a statistically significant difference in interpersonal relationships and mental health according to sleep time of people with developmental disabilities(p<.001). These results are expected to be basic data for suggesting standards of physical activity participation frequency and sleeping hours for the improvement of interpersonal relationships and mental health, which are important for quality of life, necessary for self-reliance of people with developmental disabilities.
