Looking at the size of the global nail care products market, it is estimated to be USD 19.1 billion in 2021 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.2% from 2022 to 2030. With the expansion of the market, dermatologists and hospitals are showing increased interest in fusion treatments, such as medical nail care. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of treatment use of individuals receiving medical nail care and to provide basic data necessary for future research in this field. A questionnaire was distributed to customers receiving medical nail care services across the country, as well as those using problem nail care systems in Busan hospitals. Reasons for using medical nail care appeared to account for a high proportion in order to improve in problem. Among problematic toenail types, slightly bad cases were high, and ingrown toenails showed the highest distribution. In the care sector, drill care and non-invasive wire braces showed a high proportion. For monthly expenses, Less than 100,000 won showed a high response rate, and Period of effect showed a high response rate of 2-3 less than a month. Through the results of this study, patients demonstrated the importance of treatment to improve problems without compromising aesthetics and activity. The various calibration options available reduce the burden of cosmetic and invasive surgery from the patient"s perspective. Through this study, hospitals actively accept combined treatment and provide care options that can alleviate the burden on patients, adding intuitive effects to toenail diseases that require long-term treatment to increase treatment compliance and nail care experts to reconsider care options, we wanted to provide.
