The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of creating interactive fairy tales using text and images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT and Midjourney. The study’s context is the changing production environment in the post-art era, where the value of art is threatened and AI art is on the rise. This study explores whether computers and AI have value as art in the post-media art era, examines the relationship between art and future technology, and considers where post-media art should be placed. This study focuses on the potential for creating engaging and personalized content for young readers using the latest language models and AI image generation services. This paper includes the design and development of a prototype fairy tale book that integrates text and images generated by AI. The results of this research can provide insights into AI art or new media art that utilizes AI technology in the future, and can also impact the development of interactive educational materials for children.
