In this manuscript, natural science interpretation was conducted along with humanistic attempts to look into the inner side of Sohn Kee-chung, the marathon winner of the 1936 Berlin Olympics, by tracing the sadness expressed at the awards ceremony. Sohn Kee-chung"s victory at the Berlin Olympics cannot be limited to sports. It represented the national pain of the time, and served as an opportunity to awaken the will of the nation"s identity and independence. So, the sports hero Sohn Kee-chung has been regarded as the pride of an athlete in terms of the legend of the marathon, a firm independence spirit and the presentation of a sense of goal. He is known to have excellent cardiorespiratory function as a marathoner, but there are few detailed analysis records. History is often repeated, and from the viewpoint that the future of a young man with an idol is reborn as a hero, all history becomes a mirror of the future and serves as a foundation for creating a vision. The passion and fighting spirit of Sohn Kee-chung will never stop at Hwang Yeong-jo, and I am sure that he will continue to lead as a new young Sohn Kee-chung marathoner, and we look forward to the new Olympic champion in Korea.
