Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of task oriented activities on Sensory Processing in stroke patients. Methods Twenty stroke patients were divided into two groups: a task oriented activities group and a traditional occupational therapy group. The intervention sessions were given five times a week for six weeks. Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile (AASP) were used to measure the sensory processing before and after Task Oriented training. And the collected data were analyzed by using the program, SPSS (v.21, IBM, USA). Results Compared to the control group, two group treated by the task oriented training showed statistically significant improvements in Low Registration. Conclusion This paper shows the task oriented training showed its effectiveness in developing a sensory processing for stroke patients.
