Report Errors
Since 1948, the inter- Korean relations have fluctuated. Initially, the reunification was sought through the use of force and absorption. Later, the recovery of confidence ruled the process. North Korea is more and more isolated and in imminent decadency. Events such as the collapse of the Soviet Union, the death of Juche’s founder, severe famines and the change of course of the historical allies, have deeply weakened the regime that will end in a collapse some day. Given the current situation in North Korea and the change of attitude of the South Korean government toward an improvement in their relationships with the North, it is possible to think in Korea’s coming reunification.
