One of the most significant events of 21st century is the rise of China. Driving the growth for the next 10 years will be the new regime of Xi Jinping. The beginning of full scale power game between China and the United States with Korean Peninsula in its center, happening after Xi Jinping regime seized power, there is a significant change in relations between South Korea, North Korea and China. As relationship between China and the United States aggravates into conflict and competition, Korean Peninsula will have to face grave security d ilemma a nd challenges. Therefore t he emergence o f Xi Jinping r egime and the following change of continuation of China's North Korean policy some key variables in deciding vector of security order of Korean Peninsula. In order to secure peace and stability of Korean Peninsula and ameliorate North-South Korean relationship, substantial cooperation with China must be provided. Nevertheless there are a number of security factors that pose a difficult dilemma to address, which include difference of stance regarding the six-party talks along with resolving of North Korean nuclear issue and different perceptions toward ROK-US alliance. Geopolitical characteristics of Korean Peninsula are contributing to some cold war aspects linger in the region. To address these fundamental issues the current cold war instability of Korean Peninsula need to be sought to converse into reliable state of peace, not to mention establishing Multilateral security order and institutionalizing peace order are crucially required.
