Korean beauty care business professionals’ job stress is caused by smallness of cottage industries and a lack of national support but the big problem is companies’ management human resource(s) management. This research aimed at investigating sub factors of job stress and self-worth of beauty shop employees, and determining the causal relationship of influence of these factors on job satisfaction or dissatisfaction, which are duty result of organization, and turnover intention. And as they again had an effect on job stress and self-worth, they led to the situations that companies could not provide high-quality services for customer. Job stress’ causes have found to be excessive duties and results and uneasy relationships between superiors or colleagues. And this job stress has found to have an effect on individual mental or physical organizational commitment or turnover intention, reduce job satisfaction, and increase job dissatisfaction and turnover intention. On the contrary, self-worth has found that two factors increase job satisfaction and reduce job dissatisfaction and turnover intention much more. The marketing implications shown by these results include increasing employees’ self-worth and improving relationships between employees and working environments. And training programs for self-improvement are urgently required to manage employees’ job stress and improve self-worth. This study is thought to be factors in drawing positive results of beauty management by analyzing job stress and self-worth of beauty care business professionals in Daejeon.
