This study aims to investigate the relationship among the motive, passion and emotion of elderly women participating in DanceSport. To do so, 300 copies of survey were distributed between July-September 2015 to elderly women that participate in DanceSports among the leisure and welfare programs for the elderly at senior welfare centers or schools for elderly located in Gangwon-do, and 294 of them were used in actual analysis. Results obtained through follows process are as follows. First, motive of elderly women participating in DanceSport affected passion. Specifically, as the internal motive and external motive were higher, harmonious passion and obsessive passion were both high. Second, motive of elderly women participating in DanceSport affect emotion. Specifically, as the internal motive is higher, the positive emotion was high and negative emotion was low, and as the external motive was higher, negative emotion was high. Third, passion of elderly women participating in DanceSport affect emotion. Specifically, as harmonious passion is higher, positive emotion was high and negative emotion was low, and as obsessive passion is higher, negative emotion was high. Therefore, since obsessive passion may lead to negative emotion, instructors and institutions would need to put greater efforts to lead to positive emotions, which enhances individual's value and harmonize with the life through the continuous harmonious passion of elders.
