This study aimed at identifying the impact of satisfaction with work experience currently being carried out for the practical aesthetic education of college students majoring in aesthetics on professional identity and career preparation, which are important elements in carrying out the roles of a beautician. Data was collected using questionnaires. Four-year college aesthetic departments that operate work experience programs were selected and a total of 288 male and female college students in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions majoring in aesthetics who had work experience through the school were set as subjects. SPSS for Windows 20.0 was used for analysis of the collected data, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, it was found that satisfaction with work experience had a statistically significant positive impact on career preparation. Second, it was found that satisfaction with work experience had a statistically significant positive impact on professional identity. Third, it was found that professional identity of college students majoring in aesthetics had a statistically significant positive impact on career preparation.
