SnS microflower-graphene (G-SnS) has been successfully prepared by microwave method. Scanning electron microscopy andtransmission electron microscopy observations confirm that flower-like SnS composing of numerous nanoplates as buildingblocks are homogeneously attached onto the surface of graphene. The experimental results show that these nanocompositeshave high visible-light photocatalytic activities towards methyl orange (MO). It is believed that the hierarchical nature of themicroflower structure and the intimate combination of microflower with graphene are responsible for the enhancedphotocatalytic performance.
