The Society of Korean photography began in 1992. The regular academic seminar started In 1993 . It is one of the representative academic journals of the history of photography. 1994 AURA published academic seminars and journals and has been continuing its history to date. It can be said that it is one of the best photography societies. AURA has a history of about 20 years in photography. In 2000, the society received excellent scholarship from the Korea Research Foundation. And AURA grew quantitatively and qualitatively. However, the Journal of AURA has recently been downgraded to a candidate for listing. As a result, it is time for the AURA to look at the path it has taken so far and to reconsider ways to make a meaningful leap. In fact, it is true that a considerable number of journals are actually a little late compared to publishing analytical papers on the trends and trends of journals on the 10th anniversary. The Journal of Photography in the Contemporary Journal of Photographic Imaging in 2011, I also conducted research on the flow of the journal. This study covers the AURA issue from 1994 to the 37th issue of 2016. 493 quantitative growth, author characteristics, author 's area, research theme, research method, and the number of authors were analyzed. This analysis will be an opportunity to grasp the current situation of the Korean photographic journal and summarize the results. In addition, this study is meaningful in suggesting guidelines for future direction of the Korean photographic journal.
