As the importance of ventilation increases, interest in related standards is also increasing. However, the current design standards for ventilation facilities are mixed with design standards for each purpose of the building, and problems such as establishing terms need to be solved. The purpose of this paper is to revise the existing design standard for ventilation facilities by reflecting related domestic and overseas standards. The design standards were revised by combining domestic facility manuals and information such as the American society of heating, refrigerating and air conditioning engineers(ASHRAE). The revised design criteria are outdoor air inlet, outdoor air volume, exhaust and exhaust volume, and air grade directly related to ventilation. The amendments to each standard were described with appropriate examples. The design standards revised in this paper are expected to help standardize ventilation facilities and design engineers in the future.
