Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure the perception, use, and educational needs of SLPs for fluency disorders treatment technique. Methods: The Participants were 50 female and male speech language pathologists (SLP) performing speech therapy in the clinical field. Recognition, use, and educational needs for 10 language development treatment techniques were investigated. Results: First, among fluency interventions, parent-child interaction therapy (indirect treatment), prolongation technique, fluency enhancing techniques (slow speech, light joint contact, easy start, etc.), gradual increase of length and complexity of utterance (GILCU), stuttering correction approach (MIDVAS), stuttering moment correction technique (cancellation, exit, precaution), and DAF (delayed auditory feedback) treatment were widely recognized. Second, as a result of finding out about fluency disorder intervention techniques that are used in clinical settings, fluency enhancing techniques, parent-child interaction therapy, GILCU, prolonged technique, stuttering moment correction technique, and fluency enhancement program (Fluency Up) were widely use. Third, as a result of examining the educational needs of SLPs for fluency disorders treatment techniques, Lidcombe program (LP), Stoker probe technique, stuttering correction approach (MIDVAS), Fluency Up, FAF (frequency modulation feedback) treatment, and DAF (delayed auditory feedback) treatment showed higher demand for additional education. Conclusions: Through this study, it was found that SLP"s recognition of fluency disorder treatment techniques was widely recognized through the curriculum, but the use of techniques in clinical settings was biased compared to recognition. It is necessary to support re-education according to the educational needs of SLPs for fluency disorders treatment techniques.
