Entering the 21st century, the architectural design process is pursuing a new approach as a digital architectural design that integrates design and fabrication using digital tools and fabrication technologies. As it becomes possible to express unstructured forms through digital tools, modular members with new properties are produced along with various geometry studies, and design process experiments are actively underway to build formations and pavilion structures. However, the process for the optimization process in terms of the architectural performance of materials while maintaining the geometry properties has not been addressed much. The purpose of this study is to establish an optimization and fabrication method in the interrelationship between specific geometry shapes and openings using unit modules.
