Over time, the events that took place in Karabakh and its surroundings are understood in their entirety, which in turn encourages the strengthening of creative searches in literature, a wide description of the events from different points of view. In the article, the document "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot" by Hamlet Isaxanli, an outstanding educational founder, poet, writer-publicist, is analyzed as an original example of prose. In the article, it is noted that documentary prose, as a type of literature, embodies the historical processes and existing problems in the social and political life of society, based on real facts. In H. Isakhanli"s work, it is established on the basis of specific examples that documentary prose writing technique - self-reference mechanisms are used, and when remembering any historical event, he places it in a certain semantic context. The article also mentions that documentary prose plays the role of source for artistic prose.
The article emphasizes that the work "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot" brought a new poetic-publicistic intonation to Azerbaijani prose and gave impetus to the development of documentary prose.
