The purpose of this study is to develop process performance indicators for self-sufficiency projects. This study developed process performance indicators of self-sufficiency projects through a review of previous studies, a Del-phi survey of academic and field experts, and a survey of participants in self-sufficiency projects. In particular, this study surveyed 80 institutions and 566 participants. This study used correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis, process performance indicators are willingness for self-sufficiency (e.g., recognition of value and competency, future outlook motivation, technology and resource utilization, goal orientation), employment barriers (e.g., lack of human capital, lack of information), and behaviors for self-sufficiency (e.g., work-related behavior, daily life, social relationship behavior, clean appearance, and health care behavior). Further implications for the usage of the developed scales are, first, adjusting and linking self-sufficiency evaluation tables and qualitative performance evaluation indicators, second, securing the stability of the scale through pilot projects, third, clarifying the purpose of using qualitative performance evaluation indicators. Finally, it is necessary to prepare a plan to apply indicators that can represent the entire self-support business.
