Among the types of housing in the residential environment, research on garages is needed at a time when the marketability for detached houses is due to changes in the housing market following the retirement of the Corona 19 incident and baby boom era. The marketability of detached houses is growing by pursuing independent environmental changes for detached houses for those who are tired of the apartment housing culture. The garage of a detached house has become an indispensable space in a house due to the development of transportation culture. As garages are partially used not only for parking lots but also for personal hobbies and multi-purpose purposes, it is time to study the rational movement of garages and houses. The movement plan, which takes into account situations such as when moving with heavy loads or in case of rain, will contribute to improving the quality of life in detached houses. The purpose of this study proposed a relationship between the functional connection between the interior and exterior of a garage and a detached house, the aesthetic unity of the house and the garage in the elevation of the house, and a reasonable movement of the garage.
