This paper examined the pronunciation of X and Y in the “X Jeong Y” formulas of the Jeon-un Okpyeon. In the description of Jeon Un-okpyeon, “X Jeong Y”’s X and Y pronunciation is The study compared the middle and high tones of Korean, based on the four-sound and seven-tone. Due to the limitations of space Among the Chinese characters marked as “X Jeong Y” in the Jeon Un-okpyeon section, the Chinese characters X and Y were analyzed, and each phonological feature was summarized by thoroughly investigating the Chinese characters belonging to the full voiceless sound and minor voiceless sound of the four-sound and seven-tone. Among the consonants of the Chinese characters corresponding to “X Jeong Y” in the Jeon Un-okpyeon, the saints corresponding to the full voiceless sound and minor voiceless sound are jeong-mo, jang-mo, jang-mo, cheong-mo, cho-mo, chang-mo, sim-mo, saeng-mo, and seo-mo, while the minor voiceless sounds marked as “X Jeong Y” in the Jeon Un-okpyeon were cheong-mo, cho-mo, and chang-mo, clearly distinguishing organic and inorganic sounds from X. However, the jeong-mo, jang-mo, and jang-mo of the full voiceless sound confirmed that the distinction between organic and inorganic sounds in the X sound was relatively unclear, and that the Y sound was not regular due to the mixture of polyphonic characters, phonetic alphabet, and harmonic characters.
