폐경기 여성을 위한 Femtech 서비스를 구축하여 에스트로겐 결핍으로 인해 폐경기 증상을 겪는 중년 여성을 대상으로 기존에 부작용에 대한 염려가 많은 호르몬 치료가 아닌 비 호르몬 치료를 제공할 수 있는 디지털 헬스케어 서비스에 관한 연구이다. 애플리케이션 앱 개발을 통해 비 호르몬 치료로 걷기운동을 제공 및 홍조/증상 측정을 통한 증상 관리도 함께 제공한다. 특히 운동 제공에 있어 올바른 걷기 방법을 안내해주는 voice agent 와 함께 운동을 진행한다. 중년 여성이 운동을 규칙적으로 수행하지 않는다는 선행 연구에 따라 효과적인 치료 및 건강 개선을 위해서는 HCI와 디지털 헬스케어 간의 융합 연구가 필요하다고 판단했다. 이에 따라 근거이론 기반의 운동 모바일 애플리케이션 “LB 서비스”를 개발했고 본 서비스 내에서 규칙적 운동 수행을 도울 수 있는 가장 적합한 voice agent persona 에 대한 연구를 진행했다. 이를 통해 폐경기 여성들의 삶의 질과 폐경기 증후군 증상을 개선하고자 한다.
