Objective: The purpose of this thesis is to develop a systematic production-linked key performance indicator (KPI) for small-scale manufacturing where it is difficult to introduce the MES system. Through the ‘company E’ case study, performance indicators that can be used for small businesses were verified. Background: Most of the objective evaluation systems have been focused on large and medium-sized companies, and these evaluation systems have drawn successful results through performance indicators such as BSC, IPOO, and QCDP models. Nevertheless, when applied to small-scale manufacturing, BSC showed dissatisfied results in the suitability of financial indicators, IPOO in the temporal problem of business results, and QCDP in the problem of how to measure quality indicators. In particular, studies applicable to small-scale manufacturing are insufficient.
