This research is based on the lack of funds and management experience in the implementation of small and medium-sized cultural themed exhibition projects, and there are problems such as unclear theme, abuse of form, and unreasonable layout planning. The purpose of experimental exploration is to provide relevant personnel with a reference idea through theoretical and practical research. By applying the theoretical research results to practice, the target project has been completed and the project expectations have been met. The specific research contents and results are as follows:
This paper first analyzes the difference between the theme exhibition and the traditional exhibition space from the space essence and function of the theme exhibition, explains the cultural theme exhibition, and summarizes the spatial characteristics of the cultural theme exhibition. Then, it summarizes the design method of cultural theme exhibition space from three perspectives: space layout, space theme form, and environmental influence factors. The second half of the article takes the design of the History Museum of the People"s Court of Donghai County as an example, and makes a practical application of the theories sorted out above. Mainly from the basic procedures of site planning, layout analysis, exhibition area relationship, and space design, it explains the context, theme form, space layout, space experience and other issues that the theme exhibition space is concerned about, and finally summarizes the space design process suitable for cultural theme exhibitions. and design ideas, providing a feasible path for related project design.
