Global warming due to the use of fossil fuels is considered a problem in the world, and hydrogen energy fuel cells are emerging as next-generation eco-friendly energy. However, fuel cell uses platinum as a main catalyst which is expensive novel metal compared with other metal. The platinum catalyst occupies a significant part of the fuel cell stack cost structure, raising the price of the fuel cell and decreasing its price competitiveness compared to other energy sources. In order to increase the price competitiveness of fuel cells, many researchers have been synthesizing a core- shell strucuture catalyst (Co@Pt/C, Ni@Pt/C, Fe@Pt/C ...) to decrease the amount of platinum.
