Analyzing technological convergence is a critical task since it can provide a seed for understanding future technological phenomena and technological opportunity analysis. Despite the fact, however, previous studies have depended on technology-level analysis, not focusing on national level R&D. In response, this study focuses on the 6T convergence, which is macro-level technological convergence frequently occurred in national R&D project. For this purpose, this study collected 329,178 R&D projects from 2009 to 2015, preprocessed those R&D projects, and identify 26,367 technology convergence projects. We analyzed basic statistics for those convergence projects, and analyzed the phenomena for technological convergence using co-classification analysis. The co-classification analysis is conducted for both national science and technology classification and 6T classification. The network analysis is also conducted in order to represent the technological relationship occurred in technology convergence. This study can provide important clues for planning and operating national R&D projects.
