This thesis begins with the question of the need for a new method of theatre production practice in order to cultivate human resources suitable for the 4th Industrial Revolution era. At present, Korean universities are primarily engaged in traditional theatre making. This is a theatrical production method based on the author's text. This research is based on the assumption of making rhyzomatic theatre in opposition to making traditional theatre. Rhyzomatic theatre making is a concept opposite to traditional theatre making that is based on realism. Rhyzomatic theatre making method is similar to the characteristics of rhyzome in that it tries to destroy ‘One’ and ‘center’ and that it is generated through connection, heterogeneity, the principle of multiplicity, nomadic reasoning, infinite connection, and deterritorialization. It is so in the sense that it freely makes connections and acknowledges various forms and themes, and it challenges new theatre making with the nomadic reasoning after deviating from the existing traditional theatre making. The works so created are deterritorialized and reterritorialized through infinite connection with the themes and forms selected by the members. There is also a resemblance to the philosophy of rhyzome. Horizontal thinking informed by rhizome is like that. It should be instructed not by tree-like structure but by horizontal structure from the positions of the advisor professor and the students. It is not an attitude suited for the goal of a few but a method agreed upon by the opinions of many in mutual respect and consultation. Rhyzomatic theatre making is valuable in the sense that: it nurtures the capability of the students to engage in theatre making professionally; it allows voluntary participation of the students on their own; the form of a theatre work gets more diversified; it allows the students to experience a theatre that is different from the existing dialogue-oriented theatre; and it creates performances with their own voices. In the process of making a rhyzomatical theatre, the students constantly consult, think creatively, improve their ability to create a scene, and their gaze of the world are sensitized before they are projected. Their relationship to each other can be improved through consultation and persuasion. In the process, the flexibility, cooperation method and communication method that are necessary for future competence can be practiced and trained. The rhyzomatic theatre making occupies a middle position in the making of the future drama to be performed in the future, by collecting various forms and themes in the traditional theatre making based on the present text. Currently, it contains various attempts that escape from the traditional theatre making and constitutes the middle point of the future theatre making. This research on the methodology of the rhyzomatic theatre making has significance in that it studied on the methodolgy of the traditional theatrical making that occupies more than 90% of the total and other theatrical production methods. It is valuable as it has contemplated on the new theatre production method and presented a starting point after a period of trial and error. Efforts for implementation of the methodology as well as discussions on proper methods of on-site application should continue in the future.
