There are some contraindications especially, chronic infections including tuberculosis and hepatitis on the administration of biological agents. A 47-year-old woman who had latent tuberculosis and chronic hepatitis C infection was presented with pruritic diffuse erythematous scaly plaque. We tried to treat tuberculosis and chronic hepatitis C before administration of biologic agent, but had to stop because of the side effects. Despite being warned of the risk of reactivation of tuberculosis and chronic hepatitis C, she wanted treatment with biologic agent because of being suffered from the skin lesions. Treatment started with secukinumab which was thought to be the least likely to reactivate the chronic diseases. The skin lesions were well controlled for eleven months without any reactivation signs. Here in we report a case of latent tuberculosis and chronic hepatitis C not reactivated after secukinumab treatment in severe psoriasis.
