In 2002, a broad New Town Project has been carried forward to resolve the regional imbalance between the north of the Han River and the south and to resolve the sprawling development from lack of urban infrastructure. But the New Town Project had been slow in progress, so the Government enacted [Special Law for the Accelerating Urban Renewal] and made an effort for comprehensive and effective development. Nevertheless, the project is still delaying and even lifted in some regions. The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the union member's recognition of the importance and satisfaction on the project in Hannam Renewal Promotion Area through IPA analysis, in detail by district. The list of priority Improvement according to IPA analysis came up total 7 sub-parameters as the level of public regulations on real estate, the transparency of union business process, the communication levels with union member, the progress speed of projects, the consistency with Seoul Landscape Management Plan, the properness of Land Use Plan, and the preservation of local assets. As a result of comparing the priority improvement items in each area, it was found to be concentrated in the factors of major classification project and urban planning. And the variable of the level of public regulations on real estate was derived as a factor of legal system. In this study, we have analized the union member's recognition of the importance and satisfaction on the New Town Projcet in Hannam Renewal Promotion Area by district and suggested policy implication and necessary part of priority improvement. And we will present the basic information to progress the renewal promotion project in the future.
