A Linear Accelerators is a kind of particle accelerator that produces a beam of chargedparticles for the production of medical, industrial, and research purposes. 10 MeV and 2.5 MeVlinear accelerators were installed at Electron Beam Process Demonstration Reaserch Facility,ARTI (Advanced Radiation Technology Institute, KAERI). The facility supports technical transferof electron beam process technology and its commercialization through development of electronbeam process of large size products and a pilot-scale demonstration research by utilizing electronbeam generated from electron accelerators (10/2.5 MeV) and automatic irradiation system. 10MeV electron accelerator supports electron beam irradiation for large size product (up to 10 m),continuous production process design, and optimization. 2.5 MeV electron accelerator supportselectron beam irradiation for various type samples (solid, liquid, film, fiber, and tube typeproducts), continuous production process design, and optimization. In order to operate such anelectronic accelerator facility, it is necessary to obtain a license to use a radiation generating devicein accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act, the enforcement decree and enforcement regulationsof the same Act. The operator of an electronic accelerator facility must submit a radiation safetyreport as an attached document when applying for permission to use and pass the review by theregulatory agency, and the radiation safety report must include an assessment of the exposuredose when operating the accelerator. In this study using the Monte Carlo computer code, MCNP,calculates the radiation dose rate outside the irradiation room due to the radiation generated bythe accelerators of two electron accelerators installed in the facility, and considers the operator'sworking time. Then, the evaluated exposure dose was compared and analyzed with the referencevalue according to domestic laws and regulations. It could be also helpful for organizationslooking to build similar facilities.
