This study is based on Sinclair's(1991) corpus stylistic theory. In the corpus stylistic theory, the linguistic traits that appear frequently in texts are important in discourse structure and semantic analysis. The most im- portant principle of the corpus stylistic theory is to focus on the frequency of linguistic data. In this study, the stylistic characteristics of French liter- ary writing were analyzed using an analytical tool(WordSmith Tools and AntConc) for the Copus linguistics. When extracting keywords from French literary works, consider the following. 'Do you include functional words?' And 'How do quantitatively extracted keywords correlate with specific text?' In this study, we first dis- cussed the issues of the keyword extraction process in French inscriptions and literary works corpus, comparing the French literary works corpus and the reference corpus. In this study, the process of extracting keywords is introduced step by step, and how to solve some issues in the keyword extraction step is considered. As a solution, the main types of keywords were synthesized, and the keywords used in French literary works were compared with the stylistic characteristics of certain writers. In sum, this study re-examines several works by Camus and Saint-Exupéry with a corpus linguistic analy- sis technique, focusing on keyness that represents the main features of a text.
