The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of integrated classical literature education of the two Koreas by selecting the texts of the classical education that are appropriate for the future of middle school and high school literature education in the unification era. Literature education can play a very important role in securing national homogeneity in the era of unification. Nationalism, interculturalism, and pacifism are likely to influence unification literature education. Although there is a limit to classical education in South Korea and North Korea, the possibility of classical literature education in terms of the substantial texts of the special texts shared by South Korea and North Korea, less ideological colors, and the sense of distance about space-time of classical literature adjusts heterogeneity. In the age of unification, it is important how meaningfully the experiences of the learners who have undergone the process of unification are transformed into educational experiences. it is good that the text of classical literature identifies the homogeneity of the nation, but also reveals the contact of the boundaries of various cultures and reveals nonviolence in terms of pacifism. Among the classic novels of the 17th century war, the Choicheokjeon is a representative text that reveals universal humanity and peace as well as the separation and encounter of ordinary people in the historical experience of war.
